Wadhurst Place, Wadhurst
Located in the High Weald area of outstanding natural beauty in East Sussex, Wadhurst Place (incorporating Gill Wood) is a stunning development which we are immensely proud to manage.
In 2022 we were approached by joint LPA Receivers who had been appointed following insolvency of the developers. After having had a short period of time under management with another local agent, they were looking to appoint a new managing agent to make much needed improvements to the day to day running of the development.
Since late 2022 we have worked closely with both the Receivers and residents to place essential services and maintain the leasehold buildings and wider grounds.
To further strengthen our working relationships, we helped to form a residents committee with members representing all areas within the estate which could assist with canvassing views of residents and streamline communications. We have established positive relationships with the residents who have appreciated our hands on and committed approach to management.
When the Receivership comes to an end, we hope to continue our engagement with the Residents Management Company and further serve owners across the development.

We appointed Sam and her team to manage a complex development of both apartments and houses, where the previous company had become insolvent. They rapidly took control of the existing arrangements, established relationships with the residents and key suppliers and assisted the freeholders in stabilising the estate in very difficult circumstances for the long-term benefit of all parties. In particular they showed a real understanding of the complexity of the challenge of interim and long term goals, both in terms of contractual arrangements and, once established, financial planning.
